We’ve just written a blog on “Banking: the new personal service” looking at the pitfalls & potential of personalisation and working towards personlisation as a service ; one of the issues with this is how personal do you want banks to be? Do we let them control our behaviours - or is that going way too far!? Would love to know your thoughts- blog is here
So long as people are given the option to opt out completely, or choose the preferred level of personalisation then its probably a good thing.
I’d like to think I’m good at managing my so my preference would be to retain control of what I’m doing, but I acknowledge others may need more help and this could be a good value add to them.
This theme we hear a lot - let me set my own controls or levels. What the survey we did revealed (results on that coming soon) is that people vary a lot in what those levels might be.
